Check of the mode of idling and analysis of exhaust gases

At system of injection Mono-Motronic adjusting works are excessive because in this system there is nothing to regulate more.

The control unit corrects if necessary rotation frequency in the idling mode. Only in doubtful cases it is necessary to recheck the frequency of rotation or maintenance WITH in the idling mode. Conditions of check are: working temperature of the engine, shutdown of all consumers of the electric power and correct installation of the moment of ignition. Standard indicators are:

  • Rotation frequency in the idling mode: 750 – 1000 rpm.
  • The test for contents WITH in exhaust gases: 0,2 – 1,2% in a measuring tube.

If you received other indicators, then it is necessary to check vacuum tubes and the electromagnetic valve of system of evaporation of fuel and to interview memory of the store of malfunctions.

If you always carry out servicing of the car in a workshop, then know that the test for toxicity of exhaust gases is included anyway into the volume of annual inspection check.

But even in case you are engaged in servicing of the car, we recommend carrying out this test in the workshop Audi. There reading of records of the store of malfunctions is carried out and they are erased from his memory what the usual workshop cannot make.
