Dynamics of the movement at a dry paving
What at bad coupling about expensive Torsen-differential works correctly and witty cannot already be denied. Therefore here further explanation of what happens in transmission of the all-wheel drive Audi car on the dry road is given: as it was already mentioned, forward wheels pass on turns longer piece of a way, than back because back wheels spin smaller radius.
Proceeding from it, the Torsen-differential transfers to the back bridge (because of its lower frequency of rotation) big traction force that supports a desirable tendency on an entrance to turn.
If the driver enters turn too sharply and at the same time one of back wheels revolves, then the differential immediately directs more traction force to (at this moment) to "slower" forward wheels. Bystry reaction of system leads to the fact that now pull stronger forward wheels, and it stabilizes the car. Effect – dynamic properties in the critical range on turns considerably improve.
