Start of the engine with the discharged accumulator

The way of start of the car by pushing or towage can be dangerous if the car is not started because of malfunction of system of ignition. In this case not burned down mix can flash and lift temperature in catalytic converter to dangerous values. In case the engine is not started only because of the discharged accumulator, similar things are not dangerous.

Start of the engine by means of other accumulator ("prikurivaniye")

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To bring the car with the charged accumulator so close that it was possible to lay conveniently a wire for connection of its accumulator to the accumulator.
  2. Check whether all consumers of food in your deenergized car are disconnected.
  3. The first wire to connect positive conclusions of both rechargeable batteries.
  4. At first to connect other wire to a negative conclusion of the charged auxiliary rechargeable battery, and then in a motor compartment of the deenergized car to the bared case (for example, directly to the engine).
  5. To start the engine of the auxiliary car and to force it to work at the raised turns in order that the generator gave the increased tension.
  6. If the engine was not started at once, it is necessary to take a break for cooling of a starter. To leave the auxiliary engine to work further thanks to what the discharged accumulator is charged a little.
  7. At shutdown of auxiliary wires at first to disconnect the plug from a negative conclusion of the charged auxiliary accumulator.

Start of the engine pushing

With two assistants it is possible without efforts to push Audi off.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To include ignition.
  2. To include the first transfer, on higher transfers the generator too slowly rotates and will not provide powerful giving of current.
  3. To squeeze out coupling, assistants have to push the car.
  4. If it started moving, to release coupling.
  5. As soon as the engine was started, to immediately squeeze out coupling and to add "gas".

Start of the engine towage

For towage it is better to elect the assistant who already have experience in this case, otherwise accident is possible. Also you remember: at the idle engine do not work also the power steering and the amplifier of brakes.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To include ignition, to include the second transfer and to squeeze out coupling.
  2. The forward car has to start slowly.
  3. At a speed approximately in 15 km/h slowly to begin to release coupling, having put at the same time the right hand on the lever of the parking brake.
  4. If the engine was started, to squeeze out coupling and to press "gas".
  5. To tighten the lever of the parking brake in order that you did not strike the forward car.
  6. To give a sound signal to the driver of the forward car.
  7. To put the gear shifting handle in neutral position, to release coupling.
  8. It is soft to brake the parking brake together with the towing car.
