Wheels and tires

Four black wheels hold Audi 80 on the chosen course and reliably conduct it to the purpose. It sounds though mystically, but has nothing in common with black magic, and is connected with such usual things as rubber mix, the drawing of a profile and a framework of the tire.

What tires are installed?

Specifically it is necessary to install those sizes of tires which are brought in the certificate on registration on your car. Tires with other designations should not be installed on wheels of your car, otherwise problems with police are possible. In this case permission to operation of your car is invalid. Designations of tires

According to the international agreements the size of tires is specified in millimeters or as in our case, it is mixed in millimeters and inches. Or 205/65 R 15 91 V tell designations 195/65 R 15 91 T about the following:

195 or 205: width of tires in not loaded mm fortune.

65: a ratio of height of tires to their width = 65:100. Standard radial tires which in such look are not used for Audi 80 any more had a ratio of height/width 80:100.
